Tour Guatape and Peñol Rock in a few words:
Departure in the morning to the village of Guatapé, located about 2-hour drive from Medellin. First, you will have the opportunity to visit a replica of the former village, now flooded by the waters of Lake Guatape. You will then tour Guatape and the Peñol Rock, a huge megalithic natural formation overlooking the lake. Finally, you will visit the colourful village before returning to Medellin later in the afternoon.

Highlights of this tour:
Climb the 700 or so steps leading to a platform on top of the Peñol Rock. You will enjoy “the most beautiful view in the world”, a 360° panorama over Lake Guatapé. Wander through the colourful streets of Guatapé, where each building shows original and unique patterns designed by the occupant of the place.

Physical condition:
The ascent of the Peñol Rock can only be done on foot. It is possible to access some lower levels with a view overlooking the lake, without necessarily reaching the top of the rock.
