Visit Tayrona Park, the most visited national park in Colombia.

The Tayrona Natural National Park, its lush forest, paradise beaches, and rich biodiversity.

CARIBBEAN NATURE

During a stay on the Colombian Caribbean coast, near Santa Marta, travellers often take the opportunity to visit Tayrona Park. Located 30 minutes from the regional capital, this national park allows you to discover an exotic Caribbean nature. The park has various land and sea access points. For example, you can go to Playa Cristal, via the Neguanje entry point, or to Calabazos, which used to lead to Pueblito and its traditional Kogui structures, now closed to visitors. However, the main entry point remains el Zaino. From here you can enjoy a slightly demanding hike through a lush forest. Once you reach the seafront, near Arrecifes, you will discover a huge beach, where the often-violent currents prevent you from going for a swim. Afterwards, you have to go along the coast to reach an area more suitable for a dip in the sea, in Cabo San Juan.
